Your child’s first visit will consist of a consultation with one of our doctors. During this consultation, your child will receive a thorough clinical examination and evaluation of their teeth, supporting structures, and bite. Appropriate radiographs (x-rays) will be taken if necessary.
Upon reviewing the examination records and radiographs, we will provide you with a clear understanding of the diagnosis, prognosis, and any potential treatment plans that may be necessary, with different options on how to complete it.
In addition to restorative dental care, we provide essential knowledge for fostering a cavity-free child. This includes valuable information about diet, nutrition, and effective at-home practices to promote a healthy oral environment.
Children are often much braver about going to see the dentist than their parents are! Try not to project any anxiety you might have onto your little one. Just relax and be honest – tell your child that they are going to the dentist, which is a good thing. You can even say things like: “the doctor will count your teeth”, and “you’ll go for a ride in the chair”.

In order to be respectful of other patients’ needs, please be courteous and call our office promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. This time will be given to someone who is in urgent need of treatment. We ask that you contact our office one business day (24 hours) in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment or you may be subject to a $50 missed appointment fee.
