Dr. Shirin grew up in Tehran, Iran. She moved to Michigan to pursue her dream of becoming a Pediatric dentist and completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor. After many long, arduous hours working on her thesis, she also obtained her Master’s Degree in Pediatric Dentistry prior to graduation. After graduating her residency in 2009, she became Canadian board certified, and moved to Calgary to reunite with her husband. Dr. Shirin was excited to join the Chew Chew Pediatric Dentistry family in December of 2011 and couldn’t be happier to work alongside such terrific, hardworking team members!
Dr Shirin speaks Farsi fluently.
Dr. Shirin and her husband Orest have two wonderful children who truly are the light of their lives. When she is not working, Dr. Shirin enjoys exercising and spending time with her family and friends. Dr Shirin's favorite thing to do is to travel to different countries with her family and experience different cultures with them. Her favorite movie is Trolls and her favorite superhero is…a unicorn?
