Dr. Manar grew up in Kuwait, and is fluent in Arabic. She moved to the UK to complete her dental degree at the University of Manchester. She later worked in the UK as a General Dentist and then in Secondary Dental Care for Special Needs and Maxillofacial Surgery. She completed her Pediatric Dentistry Speciality training and Masters of Science Degree at Tufts, Boston in 2017, and became American Board of Pediatric Dentistry certified that same year.
By 2019, Dr. Manar, along with three other local colleagues, initiated the first Kuwaiti Board in Pediatric Dentistry, and currently remains as a part-time international faculty for the program. In 2021, Dr. Manar became Canadian Board certified, and subsequently moved to Canada to join the Chew Chew team early 2023. In her free time, Dr. Manar enjoys travelling, nature photography, fitness, hiking, and looking after her (many) rescue cats. Additionally, she enjoys going on dental volunteer trips to areas that lack dental resources, such as Guatemala, Liberia, and Vietnam. Her favourite superhero is Superman and favourite princess is Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
