Dr. Orest grew up in Winnipeg playing volleyball, tennis, canoeing and Ukrainian dancing. As a Ukranian dancer he performed all across Canada and Ukraine in Winnipeg’s Rusalka Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, as well as in Calgary’s Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Ensemble.
Dr. Orest graduated from University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Masters of Science in Human Anatomy before completing dental school there. He then travelled to University of Michigan where he earned his Masters of Science in Pediatric Dentistry.
He is married with two great kids and loves to spend his time biking, BBQing, eating sushi and traveling with the family. His favorite characters include Chase from Paw Patrol, Spider-Man and Steve from Minecraft. His other favorites are Queen Elsa and Princess Poppy. Dr. Orest loves to spend time in Japan (for sushi), Maui (for Aloha), and Lake Louise (for hiking and skiing).
